ABOUT JABU

Jabu Graybeal studied tap dancing with JUBA award winner Gene Medler of the Chapel Hill Ballet School and he is an alumnus of Jacob’s Pillow and Young Arts Foundation. He danced for many years with the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble and he has also performed with Chloe Arnold's Apartment 33 and the Caleb Teicher and Company performing tap dance companies. He was featured in the December 2017 issue of Dance Spirit Magazine as one of "Tap's Next Generation of Stars."

Jabu is on faculty for Tap with Press Play Dance Convention and travels to encourage, teach and educate students. You can see more of his unique style on instagram @jabuworld.
