My girls, age 19 & 10 have enjoyed many years of dance at Floyd Ward. They have taken classes ranging from ballet & liturgical to hip hop, clogging, jazz & tap. They have participated on the competition teams where they travel to various locations throughout the year to showcase their talents. Dance is so much more than a simple extracurricular activity for my girls. It has helped shape who they are. I have watched the benefits from dance instruction roll over into all aspects of their life. I feel that they have had more focus and more self-confidence for school. They get exercise to stay healthy; they have learned to be part of a team; and they appreciate the results of hard work.

Floyd Ward has so many opportunities available, including special needs dance classes, one of my very favorites to watch at recital!

My daughter has danced with Floyd Ward for seven years.  Dance has allowed her to develop confidence, poise, and friendships that will carry her through her school years and into adulthood.  I have been more than pleased with the quality of dance, the daily positive influences, and the love, enthusiasm, and solid technique she has developed through her participation with Floyd Ward School of Dance.  I look forward to many more years of watching her dance.  We love our Floyd Ward family.
